As far as legacies go in the Bollywood Music fraternity they don’t get older than that of Tulsi Kumar. However, despite being from Bollywood Music’s first family Tulsi has gone and created her own niche in the industry by becoming one of the best voices of our generation.
Discovered at the tender age of 6 by her legendary father, the mogul of music late Shri Gulshan Kumar, Tulsi started her education in music from Suresh Wadkar’s Academy and later blossomed under the tutelage of Pandit Vinod Mishra. Since starting out in 2006, she has sung in several Bollywood movies like Aksar, Humko deewana Kar Gaye, Chup Chupke , Bhool Bhulaiyya, 8*10 tasveer, Once upon a time in Mumbai, Ready , Dangerous Ishq, Dabbang2,Nautanki Sala to name a few.
Tulsi’s numerous chart buster’s include ” Tum Jo Aaye” from ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’ with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan , “Love Mera Hit Hit” from ‘Billu’ , “Humko Pyaar Hua” and “Meri Adaa” from ‘Ready’ , “Saanson Ne” from ‘Dabangg 2, “Mumkin Nahi” from Rush, “Tu Hi Rab, Tu hi Dua” from ‘Dangerous Ishq ,“Kick Lag Gayi” from ‘Bittoo Boss. She also has recent successful tracks like “Mera Mann” from ‘Nautanki Saala” and “Halki Halki” from ‘I Love New Year’,Piya Aaye Na’ and ‘Hum Marr Jaayenge from Aashiqui 2 to her name.
